After spending 15 years at Amazon, I made a life-changing decision to step away from the corporate world and begin a new journey. The pandemic had already started altering how we worked, and as I transitioned from an office environment to remote work, I found myself gaining a deeper understanding of the need for a true work-life balance. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to reflect on how crucial it is to prioritize work, family, personal time, and mental health. Through this process, I learned invaluable lessons. Now, I am focused more than ever on maintaining a strong work ethic that aligns with my professional ambitions while ensuring I’m fully present for my loved ones and dedicated to my own well-being.
Leaving my position at Amazon marked a major shift in my life. I had spent over a decade in an intense, fast-paced environment, where the demands of the job continuously tested my limits.
